After a weekend full of hosting family, preparing a turkey for the first time, and a lot of walking and running with out-of-town visitors, I was fidgety to get on my bike. During a break in the action, and on a spectacularly-warm day, I slipped out and did a little loop around the Anacostia, the new Diamond Teague bridge, and over to the Mall. I happened to arrive on the Mall just as a pretty awesome sunset was breaking through the clouds over the Washington Monument. It’s moments like these that make me appreciate the majesty of this city.
On the way home, I got more comments on my new Spoke Lit lights… but I guess that means they’re doing their job!
